Rebecca Raptor Powerful music for powerful people. This album is their "hardest" while still maintaining their unique sense of grace and beauty. Wish I found this album years ago! Favorite track: Bezbrezi.

bubak Any time this band releases a new album my expectations are very high. As a long time loyal fan I appreciate the mood and melodies. Sounds a bit like a previous release Návaz, maybe a bit too same, but still a great album, one of my favourites in 2018. Favorite track: Ten, ktery ukoval Slunce.
Kenstrosity thumbnail
Kenstrosity In a world filled with bands that bring the flavors of their home country to their music, few manage to open up their world as warmly as SSoGE have done here. This album is so inviting and nourishing, with a wonderful production to boot, that I don't think I ever want to leave! Favorite track: Kdo z nas je vic.

Tears and sweat was all he knew The bellows sigh turning to cry He hammered his heart in metal With palms of tinders He may glow in the skies
My hair of black flax My voice of bull horn Harvest your wheat before I get my crop And let evil spirits go My beard a field of corn My breath a dust of hooves Harvest your wheat before I get my crop And let evil spirits go The rain of my tears Shall drown your anger So pound in the skies more than I do And let evil spirits go
Synecku 04:56
My darling, my dear We walked slopes And lay in rosemary White bodies covered in Earth Smoke The green grave Turned to blossom For seven times I water it with my tears Still waiting for you A timber grave Where a baby Rests sleeping
Ptakoprav 07:15
In my fingers I hold feathers of jay Deep inside the heart goes throbbing Dark shadow dwells in the moss The stare of an owl burns in my back Pain in the wings, who will tell me Where I can lay my head I'm hiding in the ferns Where my fear has gone He only knows I'm still running A step closer to Náv, the other world
Maloverna 05:51
Our Fate roams along the lines Reading the flames Dancing in the dark Suffering Of little faith Miserable Of blasphemy Mutilated Of no respect
Za nevestou 06:33
Don’t walk the thorny path To meet the bride singing in the dark of night She’ll put her ancient spell on you She’ll enchant you, kiss your cheeks She’ll enchant you, win over your body Then she’ll kill you Bury your limbs down under
Tichy zpev 05:59
You and I mean more I’m washing out your shirt See many more words In my palms I want to tell you all You may sing like a bullfinch Yet I can’t hear your song Let me put all the world in your hands My dear, by your side I want to go on You’ll never be alone Before the God Before Svarog Before all gods at once I’ll stand by you
Bezbrezi 07:37
Morana, Morana The first of women The very last Look in my eyes There’s peace and calm A field dissolving over horizon I am the ship cruising waters Your hand holding mine And Náv is the garden to go Morana, Morana I am the first of your men Over horizon Where the field becomes a slope I am sinking into your lap You’re enchanting my pain As shade is leaving your lips Then Náv is the garden The last place I see

Moravian folkish doomsters SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY are now about to release their sixth album entitled “Smutnice”. As for the title, it’s not a common word in Czech language. "Smutnice" is noun coming from adjective “smutný” what means “sad / sorrowful”, so the meaning could be like “a poem of sadness” or “someone who brings sadness”. The Moravians entered GrapowStudios again to record with Roland Grapow himself and joined forces with Yossi Sassi (Yossi Sassi & The Oriental Rock Orchestra, ex-Orphaned Land), the world famous Oriental rock pioneer, who took care of the production of the album.

Let's see the spinning wheel, the Circle of Rebirth and Death, let's listen to the stories told by the Sun while watching the World, stories about prophecies, love, the infinity of death and pathway to Naav, the underworld. Let's listen to “Smutnice”...
